Project scope

AC Energy (ACEN) is in the process of building a wind farm (Isla Wind Farm) in Mauban, Quezon, along the eastern seaboard of the country. To accomplish this, PrimeBMD has been engaged by ACEN for the design and construction of the causeway/jetty structure which will primarily serve as construction access.

Project scope

Procurement of steel pipe piles. Selecting durable, high-quality materials from a trusted manufacturer is crucial. Coordination for timely delivery ensures adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.

Preparation of the pipe laydown area. This involves clearing, leveling the site, compaction, and stabilization of the ground to support heavy materials. These works are essential to maintain an efficient, safe, and organized storage environment for steel pipe piles.

Construction of temporary Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo). This platform incorporates a foundation of armor rocks for stability and is specifically designed to facilitate the receipt of materials. The purposeful design ensures heavy vehicles can safely load and unload the steel pipe piles.

Delivery to stockpile area. Piles are transported from the temporary RoRo to the stockpile area using trailers, where they are then methodically unloaded arranged in order of installation.
