About the project
As part of ICTSI’s long-term plan to expand Manila International Container Terminal’s operation and make it the largest and most modern container terminal in the Philippines, various projects planned for development and completion.
Phase 1 is a design and build contract with major scopes that include the ground improvement of the 47,000 sq.m area, supply, and installation of 26 sets reefer racks/tower, erection of HML towers and other civil works.
Phase 2 involves an additional 300m of quay along 5.5 hectares of yard space needed to increase berthing capacity. When completed, the MICT will be the Philippines' largest international gateway and will be counted among the world's top terminals.
