Berth 7 expansion project awarded to PrimeBMD

International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) officially awarded the project for the expansion of Berth 7 at Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) to PrimeBMD on October 8.

The construction of Berth 7 Expansion, which is the first phase of MICT capacity improvements, has been approved by the Philippine Ports Authority and is set to commence on October 15.

The berth construction is ICTSI’s response to the need for greater capacity and improved productivity in the long term, according to Christian Gonzalez, ICTSI Global Corporate Head and PrimeBMD Board Member.
